w00t! 299,896 & closing. I wonder if there’s some interesting primes factored in there? (One of them is probably 2.)
My blog is still heading towards 1000 visits, despite (or because of) being my venting-space since late 2002.
Seriously tho’, I do appreciate & enjoy your site here a lot. My linking to it is unlikely to have appreciably increased your traffic, however.

Now it says “298,753.”
Did you set it to go backwards after hitting 300K? And if so, does that mean every time I refresh the page I get younger?

On the bottom left of this page is the number 298,741. yet someone else hit 299,896 last night. I’m afraid I must be in a parallel universe yet again, working with different numbers. Maybe I arrived yesterday and didn’t know it.

When I was here last night, the counter was less than 100 hits from 300K. Or maybe that was tomorrow night…

Site Meter picked this very important day to totally fuck with their database.

Well, from your perspective they fucked with the database. From mine, I now have 1,000 more chances to win. Oops, make that 402.

Sorry, in my girly pink-brained agitation I didn’t explain myself properly. That wasn’t an announcement of my presence, but an excited guess that I was the 300,000th visitor. Alas, the site meter makes no sense.

Okay, let me get this straight: you mean to say that the next number after 299,298 isn’t 300,000? But...but...how can that be?
Seriously, when I first posted here I swear to Coyote the site meter said 299,998.

Site Meter is screwed, folks. I’m inclined to believe Dr. Socks was number 300,000 last night.
