Courtesy note and e-book update
For the last couple days, the handy little left-column box linking to Creek Running North’s Amazon Honor System donations page has been down for some unknown reason. This seems to be an Internet-wide phenomenon.
If you were counting on tossing $1.25 in the bucket but have been stymied by the lack of that little box, you can
use this link
instead. You can also use this link to pre-order my e-book anthology of garden (and related) essays, The Irascible Gardener. The book will be ready shortly after I get the foreword back from a former editor. In the meantime, you might check out either of two sample chapters. Donations of ten bucks or more will get you a copy of the full book when it comes out this month, as long as you let me know who you are by checking the little box on the Amazon pay page.

And yes, I know there are typos in the samples. Think of them as a beta release.

Hypothetically speaking, let’s say that someone dropped a penny into your bucket some time ago, shortly after it was possible to do so, in fact. If that were to have happened, hypothetically, should that person have heard from you in any way, or should such a person begin to wonder if his or her contribution had not been registered by the system? If such a thing were to happen. Not saying that it has, but, y’know, just… what if?
