CRN reader homework for the weekend

Lauren tied is tying the knot sometime between today and Monday depending on who you believe. Go congratulate her. I seem to recall her taking some flak for getting married before ALL people, gay lesbian and straight, had Equal Rights To Get Married To Lauren. Guess she went ahead and did it anyway. Harrumph.

Also in the congratulations arena, our beloved e-faun The Theriomorph had her dreams come true in finding humane and affordable housing. She’s taking a leap of faith in moving a hundred miles to the new digs without current gainful employment, so if you really love her writing and want to buy her a tank of gas so she can drive Gilly and his toys to the new house, there’s a PayPal donation button in the right-hand column of her blog. It’s all about the abundance.

I'm sorry, but the comment period for this entry has ended.

Not yet.  Monday about 1:00pm eastern.

Lauren!  I obediently went over to congratulate you, saw on your blog that you were talking about “Monday,” became confused, came back here, clicked on the comment hoping for clarification, and lo and behold you’re right here explaining that it is, indeed, scheduled for Monday.

Just in case I’m asleep or strung out on the big day:  Congratulations in advance.  I am so happy for you.  I hope you and Chef have a long wonderful life together.

Now I need to go see if I can work up some kind of lawsuit against this Clarke clown for pain and anguish.  I think 1.5 minutes of my precious time wasted in pointless confusion is worth something.

Oh, Violet. You know how I feel about monetizing what we have between us.

As long as your close friends don’t refer to either one of you as the future Ex-??, then wholehearted congrats are offered on the impending less than 18 hours from now moment (and sadly {and worse, correctly} i had friends say that about my last two wives leading either to prescience or causality, i’m not sure which?).

As per abundance, raising funds these days for the support of one another seems to be a great gifting strategy.  I got an email just the other day from a friend who had need of car repair money, and was offering some copies of his valuable DVD’s for a fraction of the retail costs.  Getting a good deal, and helping someone directly to meet a specific economic expenditure is a good win/win.

I tried out calling Chef “The Future Ex” on Monday morning, but he wasn’t nearly as amused as I was.

See how he feels about “my first husband.”
