Well, given the surprising fact of Internet connectivity from way out here,  of course I have to take the opportunity to make a blog post from Sunrise Rock.

Too crowded here for real reflection: I passed two parties on my way to my usual site, which was occupied. I may move.

Dinner in Nipton at the very least.

I am half expecting Sven and Fred to show up, and am waving at Warren across just four ranges of desert mountains.

   Ah, if only. No, I spent the weekend in the company of my daughter (good!), but mostly sitting on my ass and grading midterm exams (ptui!), and much much closer to Coney Island than to Cima Dome.
