I’m not going to make a huge deal out of this

...as it’s more for the convenience of family members than anything.

But I just put a link to my Amazon wish list in the sidebar, in case anyone’s interested in finding out what sort of books I’m interested in reading. Perhaps you might enjoy reading one of them as well.

*whistles non-chalantly, not making eye contact with anyone at all*

I'm sorry, but the comment period for this entry has ended.

Maybe it’s my computer, but when I click on the link over there (or on the link in the post) it shows me MY Amazon wish list.  Am I doing something wrong?

Same here.

Should be fixed now.

Yes it is fixed, and i discovered why i was drawn to Chris’s efforts across the blogsphere—i already appreciated his environmental efforts.  His birthday is a week before mine; Capricorn types seem to me to be wondrous creatures.

Interested in exploring the backroads of Nevada?? There is much to be said about how amazing are the parts that most people never seem to even acknowledge exist there.  I have driven, in the late fall, through a long winding river valley/canyon watching golden eagles, pronghorn antelope, clouds of waterfowl, and myriads of

other critters making ready for the coming winter.  And not once in the hour or so it took to pass through did i see another vehicle.

Have you read THE TAPIR’S MORNING BATH and LIFE AND DEATH OF PLANET EARTH? If you have not, I recommend you add those books to the wish list.

Boy, I didn’t know Nabhan had a book out on Tequila. I haven’t even read *Some Like It Hot* yet. Does he ever sleep?

OMG, Chris, you and I have the same birthday. And you’re just a few years older than me.

Did you have parties when you were younger? I come from a family of 6 kids and, since my birthday is so close to the holidays, my party was held with my younger sister’s in March. All I ever got on my actual birthday was a cake.

Chris,

Thanks for that book-list. First glance, I’m drawn to both titles by Childs, the Mithen, and the Minnis.

Having lived in Bolivia for about 2 years, ‘92-’92, checking out the Rough Guide would be a great reminiscence.

Hope Santa or your buds come through with a few of those titles for you!!
