Or at least it was identified that way on the pot when I bought it a couple years ago. A little too white to be the straight species, if you ask me.
Anyway, it’s the first native iris to bloom in the yard this year. More in the front yard soon: those are for sure the darker purple, straight species. That little pink dangly thing in the background is Ribes sanguineum, which Ron gave us as a housewarming present. It’s about 50 times bigger than it was when planted in 2002.
