Koufax Awards polls are open

It’s time, for those of you who so wish, to vote in the Koufax Awards, the only blog awards that matter. The Koufaxes honor progressive blogs and bloggers. This blog is nominated for awards in the following categories:

Best Commenter (obviously, that’s for me rather than for the blog);
Best Post (for Life and Death);
Most Deserving of Wider Recognition;
Best Writing;
Best Blog (non-professonal) (which just means that this blog isn’t part of my job), and;
Best Series (for Blog Against Racism Day.)

You can vote in comments at the open polls post on Wampum. There’s an email address there for those of you who wish to vote anonymously. You can vote once per category, which between you and me I am going to find rather difficult. There are many wonderful nominees in each category. If you intend to vote, you should do it now: The folks at Wampum will be determining the list of semifinalists in a few days.

And congrats to all my fellow nominees!

I'm sorry, but the comment period for this entry has ended.

It would be nice if they all worked right today.... maybe you have found a source code that forces everyone to vote for you on the main page eh??

Without a doubt, Chris: Best Writing, easily.

And I read a lot of blogs!

Why are you even nominated? nothing about Downing Street, Nothing about Jeff Gannon. No fundraising for Democratic candidates. No politics at all!

If this is the kind of blog that gets nominated these days, the koufax awards have jumped the shark.
