With one small photo, Rurality summarizes my life.
Pretty much says it all

i was thinking about you this morning: Hiking along the north bank of the big river, we looked up along the bluff, and noticed the marmots had awakened from their winter sleep. The two of us scrambled up the cliff face, and perched along the upper surface of some tree’s roots, we watched the baby marmots making their way out into the world. It was really nice, and i thought how Chris Clarke would love to write about something like this.
Later, at a downstream confluence, the local tribal college students were busy sifting dark loamy dirt through screens, laughing and singing to hip-hop songs as they searched for clues of their ancestors. It was a really great day to celebrate the first of Spring.
