Rage, rage against the dying of the light

not that I don’t understand the impulse. Let’s hope it’s temporary.

Rana has been one of my role models and oldest blog-friends. There have been times over the last three years where we each in turn have propped the other up, metaphorically speaking, on bad days. I love her dearly. I’ve often bitterly envied things she’s written. I know I’m not unique in that.

If you have something to say to her about all this, now would be a good time to tell her.

I'm sorry, but the comment period for this entry has ended.

Sometimes you have to support people’s decisions, as they make the effort to move forward in their lives.  She expressed her feelings quite well, and i wholeheartedly concur that she needs to do what she “groks” she needs to do.  If she’d posed it as a question, or if the effort was due simply to lack of attention, then one could suggest to her that her prose and commentary are appreciated the well read.  But i feel she is doing what is best from her own sensitivities, and i say “Aye!”

I hate Robert Heinlein and all His Dark Materials, but concur with the eyght-legged one.

And that’s after having been manipulated by the Walking One to do his wheedling for him.
