Stephanie, somehow the scarcity model seems more intriguing to me.  But, dang, you’d think 967—make that 925—bottles would have been enough!

I should think it would be plenty-unless it’s some kind of nightmare scenario where you’re trapped in a fallout shelter with my Uncle Dave.

No, the fun thing about infinity bottles of beer is the look of horror on your passengers’ faces when you set out singing it at the beginning of a 13 hour car trip.

That would be entertaining.  I’ve heard a variant that goes “pick one up, and put it back up” once you’ve reached zero — you can count right back up to 99, then keep going. 

btw, this song is _excellent_ practice for learning number patterns in foreign languages.  *grin*

After that, I just had to pop over from reading the RSS feed and see if I could be the 200,000th!  I’m 199,280.  Rats.

I just discovered, through empirical research, that if I refresh the page, the counter goes up one.  If I do it 607 more times, the Irascible Gardener is MINE!

Hey, I don’t see anything against it in the rules!  It’s Saturday morning, and I have coffee and nothing better to do.

Dang cookies!  I hit refresh seven times, and it’s still stuck at 199,560.  Oh, well, maybe when I visit again tomorrow… :)

I like gardening.  And I respect irascibility, now more than ever.
