A statement in my defense
This show trial thing has gone too far.
It was funny at first. I was present at the founding of the WAAGNFNP, as you may know, and I have tried to regard with a measure of tolerance the ideological fervor of those who joined more recently. But I cannot tolerate further the more-annihilist-than-thou flavor of these proceedings.
A clarification of my credentials seems in order. I therefore offer you this video tribute to the two people who have done most to advance the goals of the We Are All Giant Nuclear Fireball Now Party, which I stayed up late last night to spend fully half an hour creating. I offer it in a spirit of reconciliation to the WAAGNFNP militants. After all, it’s not really me who is on trial here: it is the GNF itself.

Yeah, that’s just what Richard Cohen said today in his column about how it’s 1938 all over again. It’s supposed to go too far. It’s a show trial.
And don’t worry how that “history” of yours and Mr. Cooke’s will judge us. Remember, we’ll all be dead.

I don’t even have a dog in this fight, not being a member of WAA etc., and even I think Clarke is guilty. Anyone with a nickname like H-McN must be.
