I’m not sure, really, whether to call it a novel. For one thing, novels get edited. For another, you tend to be able to read them all at once, and the writer hardly ever thinks about going back and rewriting chapter one after you’ve read it. Which I’m thinking of doing with the first chapter of Harquahala.
But in the meantime, Chapter Seven of my serialized fictional whateveritis-in-progress is now posted despite my having slammed my ASDF finger in the truck door this evening, for which act of personal sacrifice I am certain you will all be inordinately grateful. (The typing, I mean. Not the slamming.)
Hopefully my helpful family members will give me until Saturday evening before jumping all over the typoes. I’ll get to them after Sophie’s birthday party.
