New Nevada Wildlands Website

From Graham Stafford in Reno:

I have just designed and built a new website at http://www.nvdesertmtn.org.

Nevada is a large geographical state. Its the 7th largest and the 35th in population. I sometimes feel, because of the large distances between population areas, we environmentalist often have a hard time communicating with others in the state. I created the website to help alleviate that problem. Now we have a one stop place to find out what is going on with Nevada’s deserts and mountains. You no longer have to wait for newsletters or meetings.

On a regular basis I will be reviewing the newspapers of Reno, Las Vegas, Elko, Ely, Carson City and Winnemucca. I will check the websites of the Nevada environmental groups and all the Nevada federal land managers. I will then post on the website all pertinent information by category.

Graham needs your help. Please visit the website and become an advocate. Share your reports, letters, and information. I will put it on the website.

I will be sending out monthly reminders about the website.

I hope you will join me in this effort to keep people informed about what is going on in the beautiful state of Nevada.

Once again the URL is http://www.nvdesertmtn.org. I created a flyer to help promote the website. I’ve attached a jpeg I hope you may print a few and hand them out. If you would like some already printed email me your snail mail address and I’ll mail them to you.

The best way to contact me about the website is by .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).

I sure hope you will help me in this endeavor.

Graham Stafford
