They are such ugly critters. Something about that long fleshy tail. I’m glad that they are nocturnal. If I ever met one I would give him a wide berth.

Jimmy Carter says that in his youth his grandma would cook them for dinner. A southern delight. Yuk. He says the smell of possum sticks in his mind to this day.
