Six years ago this past weekend, a certain person came to live with me.
I guess that makes him about 9 years old now.
A couple months ago he was denied health insurance due to a pre-existing condition. If only we’d waited!

he’s a lucky bunny.
What color is that, anyway?
The house color is fine, it’s the rabbit’s coloration that looks tweaked. Except for the obvious life in his eye, he looks “plush”; must be very soft.
The house color was called “jalapeño” in the paint store, but they put a different base in (semi-gloss instead of matte) and so it came out looking more like persimmon.
I had that happen when I tried to paint a small bathroom a mute red shade. It turned out hot pink, simply due to the gloss. We repainted, but it never seemed right.
Love the bunny pics, btw.
Actually, your house color looks like it’s the same as the (in)famous Canter’s deli in L.A.:

Scroll down a bit…
Looks like I’ve bumped into another Kathy. Would you like to go on my Kathys only blogroll, the Chatty Kathys? So far there’s three besides me, all spelled with a K.
Chris, you’re bringing Kathys together. The Order of the Kathys will reward you one day.
God, I haven’t eaten at Canters for probably twenty years. My ex’s family has a Canters story they like to tell about her brother (Becky’s ex) and the Bowl of Schmaltz…
KathyF, I want pie. But no British tallow in the crust. please. My brains are scrambled enough as is.
Pie? Or pi? I can do either, and no worries on tallow. I’ve a tallow-free household.
the only difference between british tallow and american tallow is that the british finally had to admit they had a problem and we haven’t had to.
Remember David Suzuki and “The Nature of Things?” They did a two part series on mad cow that I.. um… acquired… and it made it seem that the brits are now being far more careful than we are. And Japan even more so.
Of course, its TV, so…
what a honey!
Of course I would love to be a “Chatty Kathy.”
When I was 3, my parents bought me “Suzy Smart,” who was no Chatty Kathy, let me tell you.
What with the tallow and the schmaltz, it’s getting pretty slippery in here…
Yep, the American cattle industry until very recently was doing exactly what the Brits were doing. I have no idea why everyone assumed American beef was safe, except that virtually no cattle were ever tested.
And Kathy, you’re in!
If you’re name isn’t Kathy, are you still allowed to post comments here?
Congrats on a fine choice of equinox happiness to chase around the garden, Chris.
