Out cats give us that look even when the dish has food in it. Then when we jingle the kibble they give us the “oh why didn’t you tell me” look and tuck right in.
1) Your toes are as close to Nosy Parker’s teeth as is the empty food bowl. Are you brave, or are you foolish?
2) How does Nosy drink from the teacup? With dewclaw daintily extended?
Nosy is actually the least toe-bitey cat I’ve ever met.
I played the “get the finger sticking through the hole in the cardboard box” game with him a few months ago, and he nailed me but good. Made me bleed. But he realized almost immediately that the Evil Pink Worm he’d killed was a person finger, and I have never seen a cat look so ashamed of himself in my life.
In fact, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cat look ashamed of itself even a little about anything ever. But Nosy was. He’s a strange cat and a good boy.
The post-it, incidentally, is a mash note from The Raven’s daughter to Nosy.
the empty bowl is a cardinal sin in the feline book. i start getting warnings when any part of the bottom of the bowl shows.
Scuze me…. scuze me - Cris? My bowl Is broken.
Is that Post-it note on the wall for the cat?

Oops, that was supposed to be “Our cats . . . ”
Two questions:
1) Your toes are as close to Nosy Parker’s teeth as is the empty food bowl. Are you brave, or are you foolish?
2) How does Nosy drink from the teacup? With dewclaw daintily extended?
