Yet another poor soul misses the point of BlogWarBot:

BlogWarBot is a pretty lazy app if you ask me, I got it to repeat itself within 3 sentences

The poster seems to be laboring under the misapprehension that BlogWarBot is intended to simulate human intelligence. Quite the opposite: I wrote the thing* to take my place in blog wars.

In other words, forget all the Turing griping: BlogWarBot is designed to simulate human unintelligence. And, like it says on the tin, it’s “guaranteed 100% as effective as the real thing.” Though I will admit people partaking in blog wars are significantly more droningly repetitive.

* or, more accurately, yoinked someone else’s ELIZA code and adapted it very slightly
