Solar For The 99 Percent

By on 2011 10 30 at 7:26:07 pm

When the government permits building of corporate 'renewable' energy on your Public Lands, it is giving your property to corporations like Goldman-Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Chevron, BP, Google, & Bechtel who block incentives for decentralized & democratic urban rooftop solar. | solar for the 99% | not subsidies for the 1%

Well said and attractive to the eyes as far as graphics go.  It goes right to the heart of the issue.  The stark contrast between the natural desert and the almost ‘Frankensteinish’ look of the solar array.  Good stuff.

Absolutely fantastic and may I suggest offering a coffee cup for sale with these logo’s, might sell like hotcakes!

Ceramic Coffee Mugs, T-Shirts, Baseball Caps, hell yes!  Hopefully a company with ‘enviro-ethos’ can be found to do this with ‘minimal footprint’.  I can’t remember who it was but someone much wiser than I called handbills, posters, bumperstickers, T-shirts, etc.  “Silent Agitators”.  You betcha.

Hardly anyone believes this is a problem in the Northeast. But, it is happening here, and with our tax dollars . Solar can be done *right*, with respect to the environment. But, private landowners and corporations are applying tax incentives to squeeze every last dollar as fast as possible with complete destruction.
We have rare species habitat killed off right here in Orange Ma and many other towns .
Few people understand that this is not just laying solar panels across land where wildlife co-exist…it is strip mining….wetland destruction, the worst of the worst.
